I am a loving Christian mother of 3 boys, Jacob (12), Zack (7) and Sam (5) who loves watching and encouraging children to grow, learn and explore the world around them. I am an experience provider that has operated a home daycare for over 10 years and I am loving it every minute. I have a complete indoor playroom with a walk to the backyard. The backyard has many toys that all children love. Also I am only 3 doors down from Mearns Park. I have extra training from Mothercraft Home Based Child Care Training. I have valid CPR and First Aid and a current police check. My house is childproof and smoke free. We do have a lovely dog named Lady in our home and an adorable kitten named Maple.
I provide high quality child care with weekly/monthly themes that include craft time, circle time, story time, indoor/outdoor freeplay, letter of the week, and special days. I offer a preschool program for children 2 and up with learning activities that address a child's natural curiousity to learn. We do have special field trips to the Zoo, play places, Early Years Centres, depending on ages of children in care at any given time. I provide monthly newsletters, calendar, menus and daily journals for children under 3.
