I am a rare male ECE who is providing child care in my rural home. I have been working in commercial day care centres for the last 10 years both in Ottawa and Vancouver and decided to open my home day care in September 2008.
The children in my care are provided with 2 snacks and lunch which are all made on site and I make almost everything from scratch, even the jam. I do my best to make sure that all food is as nutritional as possible with fewer additives. Parents are provided with a 5 week rotational menu plan for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter so that you will know what your child is eating on a daily basis.
We enjoy daily outside time in my very large fenced in yard and take regular walks to our family farm as well as to see various neighbours who have become involved with the program. Each month the families are given a calander outlining the weekly themes, activities, art projects, circle topics and special days occuring within the month.
My program's main focus is with younger children but since children tend to grow up an start school I currently service Stittsville Public School French Immersion Program as bussing from my location is only available to those students in the french program
I believe in providing a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children are able to reach their full potential.
Admission conditions
Currently have a Full Time space and some Monday spaces available.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
