Philosophy
To provide a secure and safe learning environment for all children that encourage self expression, care for self, group responsibility and care for others; as well as offer an arena through which your children may discover and express their personal potential through exploration, and experimentation. It is important for parents to feel good when bringing their children to a safe and nourishing environment and it is my privilege to provide this service.
Program
Our program varies to fit the needs of you and your child. I provide high-quality full- time, part-time and drop off childcare for children 12 weeks through 10 years.
Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are prepared in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide and Day Nurseries Act of Ontario and are served to the children "family style”.
Our day and its activities are scheduled, but we often follow child initiated activities to encourage curiosity, independence and the wonderment of life.
Curriculum
Our weekly activities are posted on the Weekly Activity Sheet in the arrival area. The activities are well-balanced for group and free play, and consist of individualized learning activities that will help your child develop his/her emotional, physical, intellectual and social skills.

6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

What we do....
Play is really “Child Initiated Learning”. It is through this play that children are exposed to a wide variety of exciting and relevant learning opportunities, which foster and enrich their social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical growth. In my home based childcare center, I offer an environment which recognizes a child’s innate desire to explore and discover his/her world through the natural medium of childhood play. By respecting children’s needs to develop at their own pace and in their own style, they can experience the success and satisfaction that positive learning creates. I will provide toys, materials and opportunities for your child to learn in their own way while being sensitive to their need for encouragement. |
