Looking for daycare for your children for the summer and beyond, look no further. My name is Monika and I am a mother of 2 boys ages 9 and 10 years old and a 4 year old little girl. We are opening our home for children to join our family daycare. I know the importance of leaving your children in a well looked after, loving and safe home. My children having bad experiences in their previous daycare had prompted me to start my own daycare to insure parents do not go through the same feelings and emotions I felt daily.
The individual needs of each child are considered, with the understanding that the child will grow and learn best in a warm, fun, safe and well-equipped environment. Each child becomes a part of my family. My home is child friendly and is a smoke free environment. I follow the Canada Food guide to ensure that there are healthily choices for breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks that are provided daily.
Your child will not wander aimlessly and will not be expected to sit for long periods of time. Children will have access to various activities throughout the day. Some of the activities to look for are assorted building blocks and other construction materials, costumes for pretend play, picture books, paints and art materials, table toys such as matching games, trains and puzzles. The children will learn numbers and the alphabet through magnetic letters, books, and songs in the context of their everyday experiences. The children will have an opportunity to play outside every day, weather permitting. I have a swing set, slip & slide, several ride-on toys and a child friendly sprinkler just to name a few of the outdoor activities.
I am open Monday-Friday 6am- 6pm with reasonable rates and receipts provided at the end of the year. I am flexible with hours as I understand parents commute to work each day and I will work around your schedule to accommodate your families needs.
