A little about me
I am a 28 year old mother of three who lives in our family owned home in Pitt Meadows. I love children and have devoted my life to being a stay at home mom. I am hoping to spread my love, and provide quality care to those children who’s parents are looking for a safe home away from home atmosphere with plenty of interaction with other kids, and some time for 1 on 1 attention. I have a nine year old daughter and six year old son, who attend Highland Park Elementary school from 8:25am-2:10pm Monday to Friday. ; youngest is four, and he is in the Monday, Wednesday, Friday preschool class at Discovery Playhouse Children’s Society. Both of the schools are in a four block radius from my home, and we walk there on a daily basis. The kids will never be bored as there is something to enjoy in every part of our house. Our home has a craft/eating area as well as separate space for toys and playing, We have a huge fenced back yard with a swing set and toys. We head to the public library at least once a week, and when the months are warmer we play at the park or water park!
Cost
***The cost for children 0-4 who would come to my home on all 4 days (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri) is $650/month. Parents are responsible for providing diapers/wipes, formula and lunch. 2 snacks, milk, juice and water will be provided by me. Children arriving prior to 7:45 will be provided with breakfast.
-if your child is still on “baby food” it all must be provided by parents-
If you are interested in less then the 4 days for a child under the age of 4 your monthly fee will be the number of days x$40/month due on the 1st of each month.
***The cost for Children 5-6 who would come to my home on all four days (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri) is $500/month, Parents are responsible for providing their child with lunch for the day. I will provide 2 snacks, milk, juice and water. Children arriving prior to 7:45 will have the option to have the breakfast that my children are having.
If you are interested in less that the 4 days for a child 5-6 years old your monthly fee will be the number of days x$35/month due on the 1st of each month.
***The cost for children who attend Highland Park Elementary who would come to my home on all four days before and after school only is $160/month, plus an additional $20/day charge for spring break, Christmas break and ProD days when I am open.
If you are interested in less that the 4 days for a school aged child your monthly fee will be the number of days x$20/month due on the 1st of each month. $35 for full days and $25 for half school days.
I require 1/2 months deposit is required, and will be applied to your last month of care.
Parents will be responsible for any costs of an “outing”, and the outing costs will be given to you at the end of the week, and must be paid first the following Monday morning to continue childcare.
Daily Journey
I do not have access to a vehicle during the week, so children must be dressed appropriately as we will walk to and from the schools daily.
7:30-7:45am- Drop Off and Breakfast
8:00-9 Walking to drop kids off at Highland Park Elementary and playing at the park
9am-9:30am- snack time and circle and diapers
8:55am-10:45- play time (outdoor, free play or art)
10:45-11:30- Walking to pick up school kids (extended until 12pm on Tuesdays)
11:30-12:00- free play
12:00-12:30pm - lunch, diapers, bottles
12:30:- nap time
1:45- walk to the school to pick up
2:30-3:00- diapers and snack time
3:00-5:45- play time and cleaned up for pickup

I am currently only accepting children Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (sorry no Thursdays!!) which is perhaps perfect for you parents who are planning on going back to work part time, or have a grandma who’s not willing to commit to full time childcare.
1/2 month deposit is required, $20 NSF charge, and all payments must be made in cash once there is a chargeback
My childcare hours will be from 7:45pm-5:45pm (just ask if you need hours outside of this time frame, maybe we can work something out!). I have a parent contract, health policy and payment contract to be signed. Parents are responsible for paying their fees on the first of each month, as well as ensuring their child is picked up on time. Children are to be dressed appropriately and prepared for whatever the weather may be.
I am open to providing childcare to those families who schedules (days) vary week to week because of shift work, but I am not available for Thursdays. If this is an arrangement you are looking for, please inquire for the fee. |
