I have over 22 years of experience with children starting with babysitting jobs as a young teenager and later raising 2 children of my own. I hold current Infant and Child CPR and First Aid Certification. I have been fingerprinted and FBI background checked, and a police check is also available. I organize a local, active parenting group with currently over 120 members. I actively take parenting classes when available and am currently involved in “The Incredible Years” parenting class sponsored by City of Toronto Public Health adding another 24 hours of group instruction.
I believe parent/provider communication is key to a successful child care relationship. Beyond communication, I provide a healthy, safe, and loving home-like environment for all children where they can learn and grow on a daily basis. Daily outdoor play, natural teaching methods used, basic sign language used, imagination play encouraged, story time and song time are just
some examples of what we do everyday.
I am open from 8am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
