About us:
- I am a Child Development Supervisor, formerly known as "Level III" in Early Childhood Development.
- I have my Child Care First Aid, and all clean police clearances and child welfare checks.
- My husband also has the above mentioned clearances and checks.
- I have been running my dayhome through Southgate Medallion Family Dayhomes for 5 years (6 in March!)
- I have 2 children of my own and 3 dayhome children currently in care. My 8 year old daughter and 19 month old son, 4.5 year old and 7 year old sisters and a 17 month old boy. We would love for a little girl between 3 and 5 to join us, though we will welcome anyone over 3. :)
What I offer:
- planned and spontaneous play, art, sensory, gross motor and learning experiences based on children's interests as well as guided by myself
- opportunities for free play and freedom to explore art materials
- outdoor play/walks

- nap/rest times in dedicated spaces
- field trips in and around our neighborhood and sometimes in the summer to the zoo, John Janzen, Ft. Edmonton Park. Please note that I do NOT drive and we rely on public transportation to get around or we walk depending on ages. Kids love it.

- fenced, spacious backyard which will be filled with natural materials and nature inspired play spaces
- gardening experiences
Things to consider:
- we are located right by Pollard Meadows School
- there is a bus stop established near to us for John Paul 1 and Frere Antoine school bus (if you're considering sending your child to either of these schools in the next couple of years we might be able to continue child care up to Grade 1 or so)
- we have a dog. He is Boston Terrier puppy who is kept separated from the dayhome children in our kitchen at all times as per regulations.
- as previously mentioned, I do not drive and do take the children on the bus/LRT when we go on field trips
- we are a non-smoking home
