Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am the owner/operator of an in-home daycare in Bowmanville (Liberty & Concession area). I have been providing in-home daycare for over 16 years (ever since my son was born. I wanted to stay home with him full-time), and I have extensive experience working with Children. I have a "Human Services Worker" degree from Durham College, and I have had several years of experience working as a front-line child&youth counselor in a residential treatment setting. I have experience working with kids who are healthy and well-adjusted to kids who have survived through severe abuse and neglect, with many variations in between.
I currently have 1 full time space available.
My daycare is a large, bright, and open space full of toys, dress-up activities, music, and interactive games. Each day includes a consistent routine of crafts, story time, "circle time" for interactive adult-led activities, and co-operative and independent play time. Also included are nutritious lunches and snacks. Outdoor activities and play time are also part of daily programming weather permitting.
I also have my Standard First Aid & CPR training, and I am happy to provide a current police record check.
