I am offering a Montessori Day Care program for children over 2.5 years of age from my Barrhaven home. Children are instructed in a small group setting, which maximizes the one-on-one time I am able to spend with them.
The classroom is equipped with Montessori material for the following areas: Mathematics, Geography, Practical Life, Art, Sensorial and Language. Every opportunity is made to provide students with an ideal environment in which they can discover new skills and develop existing ones.
If your child attends either Monsignor Paul Baxter School or Berrigan Elementary School, I will be able to drop them off and pick them up for your convenience.
I serve healthy snacks and lunch every day. Additionally, I take the children to the park as a group whenever the weather permits.
I am a Montessori trained school teacher with over fifteen years of experience in the Montessori method. I also have a Bachelor's of Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education, and I am certified in basic CPR and First Aid.
I currently have two openings starting November 2011.
