I am mother to two beautiful, wonderful girls age 8 and 6. As well as my mom experience I've been a live-in Nanny, licensed through Wee-Watch and currently licensed through the County of Wellington. My current license allows me to offer my clients who need it or want it, participation in the Daycare Subsidy Program.
I believe that while your children are in my care, their happiness, security, and safety are every bit as important as my own children's.
To accomplish the above I offer the following:
-nutritious snacks and meals
-daily outdoor activities (weather permitting)
-fun indoor activities, play time, puzzles, baking etc.
-arts and crafts
-story time
-circle time
-nap time and/or quiet time as needed
-educational activities (counting, abc's etc)
-field trips to such places as the Ontario Early Years Center, local parks and splashpads and nature walks through the conservation area
I am able to walk your children to and from either the school bus stop to Kortright Hills public school or Mary Phelan Catholic school.
We live in a large three bedroom, smoke free, pet free, home with a finished basement and a large fully fenced back yard. The yard boasts a swing set, sand box and toddler sized sports equipment! We will spend most of our time in either the nice bright playroom or the backyard; although we do live close to a corner store (on days we need a popsicle), two neighborhood parks and a conservation area for nature walks.
Currently we have 2 children who come, one 8 year old boy and his 2 year old sister. Of course my two girls round out our group! We have space for three more full time and/or before and after school children to join in our fun!
