My name is Rebecca. I am a registered Early Childhood Educator with years of experience in private and licensed child care and the preschool environment. I am also a mom to two daughters (ages 11 and 8)!
I have two programs that will start in November once I see the interest and registration requests.
The first is a home based preschool program. Called Preschool with Purpose, this program will allow five children ages 2 - 4 to experience a preschool education in a small, homey environment. Activities will include fun, age appropriate literacy, mathematics, science and creative art activities with a focus social skill development. All of the activities used will begin to prepare the children for the Full-Day Early Learning Kindergarten Program. Your child would receive considerable individual attention as there is one teacher (me!) and only five students. A healthy snack is provided. Program is to run 9 am - 12 noon Monday to Friday. Cost is $12 per morning. Parent has the choice of 2, 3 or 5 days of attendance depending on availability.
I also have full time care available for children 12 months and up. Fee includes all snacks and hot lunch. Monthly menu is provided to parents and follows the Canada Food Guide for child care centres. Allergies easily accommodated. Child is provided with their own sleeping cot for napping. An educational program is implemented every day that includes circle time, literacy, math and creative art! Cost for full day care is $32
I believe that children have an incredible capacity to learn. This doesn't mean sitting a desk and doing worksheets. This means that there are so many things out there to learn about and explore! Why not provide young children with information that interests them and opportunities to learn? All completed in a fun and exciting manner that respects their age, their abilities and their development.

Admission conditions
We do have a wonderful and gentle medium sized dog in the house but she would never have contact with the attending children.

Updates
