Hello new Mom's and Dad's,
Our home day care, is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, on a crescent, with parking in the driveway, for easy drop off and pick up.
Your child will thrive in our nurturing, creative, fun, educational, calm and loving nursery school and home environment.
The playroom is large, with lots of natural light. The fenced yard has a play patio for riding toys and the yard backs onto a large, very quiet park, with a toddler slide and baby swings.
Our philosophy towards child care is based on the book "Kids Are Worth It", by Barbara Coloroso. A great book, full of helpful tools for parents.
We aim to empower children to build self-respect, confidence and self-esteem.
Research has indicated that the learning and development that occurs during a child’s early years is critical. It can have a major bearing on a person’s later achievements in school, in the workplace and on overall health and well-being throughout a person’s lifetime.
Toddlers younger than two years are known to learn best via hands-on exploration of their physical world.
We encourage the growth of the whole child, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
We have lots of fun with age appropriate indoor activities such as, circle time, story time, music time, arts and crafts, nap time, as well as outdoor play and so much more. Each child has their own personalized basket with art supplies. All new beds as of 2020.
We include educational elements through play based activities, to prepare your child for their next step into school.
Hot and nutritious lunches, morning and afternoon snacks that are peanut free are provided. Fresh fruits and vegetables daily, and NO lunch meats or hot dogs. If required, we will also provide, Vegetarian, Vegan, dairy and gluten free meals.
Rosy is our small, non-shedding dog and she does not go into the play room.
The children do not go on play dates.
We play in the house, the yard, or the park behind my house.
Smoke-free and PEANUT FREE home.
