I'm currently a stay at home mom with a 6 month old boy. I decided early in my pregnancy that I wish to stay at home to raise my son. In order to do that I decided that my neighbourhood could use a good in home daycare provider.
I have come up with a daily schedule that would clearly fit any childs needs.
7:00-10:00 am - Arrivals/Free Play and Circle Time
10:00-10:30am - Morning Snack
10:30-11:45am - Arts and Crafts/Indoors or Out
11:45-12:00pm - Clean up playroom and wash up for lunch
12:00-1:00pm - Lunch
1:00 - 1:30pm - Story Time
1:30-3:00pm - Quiet Time (Naptime) Children who do not nap are provided with quiet activities while the others sleep. I may also work on a special project just for them.
3:00-3:30pm - Afternoon Snack
3:30-5:00pm - Structured Play - group activities, puppet theatre, outdoor play and indoor games.
5:00-PICKUP - Free Play/Parent Pick up (also leaving them with either an infant or toddler report to take home.
This is an example of what I plan to start up. I am also CPR/First Aid qualified. I have worked in a different environment for over 10 years with older children, experience is there.
If your child needs to start earlier and end earlier, start later and end later, I'm open for change as well.
If you do need overnight or weekend daycare, that is available upon request.
Hope to hear from you soon!
