Hi, my name is Stef and I'm the owner of Great Expectations Child Care (www.GreatExpectationsChildCare.net), I'm going into our fifth year in child care this year :)
I'm very proud, excited...and sad that one of my kids from one of my families is graduating elementary and moving on to Junior High School...and will be taking over caring for her younger brother....So, now I have two openings coming up for July 1. I could start earlier if needed.
I'm looking for children that will be attending Braeside Elementary in the fall. We all walk those couple of blocks to and from school every day together (unless it's crazy weather- then we drive).
In the summer and on PD days, we're a busy place, we go on several field trips a month: The Science Centre, the Zoo, Calaway Park, Heritage Park, South Glenmore Water Park, Chaparral Lake...we even go as far as the Tyrell Museum in Drumheller, or out to the mountains for a day hike. I do my best to send the kids home exhausted and full of stories every night :)
We also grow our own vegetables (and even some of our own fruit!) and all the kids help with planting, watering and weeding...they love it (it's voluntary child labour- not forced ;) ) We eat whole foods here. Almost everything is homemade (even soup, a lot of our breads, "ice cream" (often pureed fruit thrown in the ice cream maker)....we even juice veggies. I avoid using added sugar as much as possible.
I have many happy current and past clients that will give references. We're really a great place to be. Come on by for a visit and see for yourself :) |

I have two openings available.
I am looking to take in one or two children for before and after school care. I already have children attending Braeside Elementary and I am only accepting children from that school.
