MONKEYING AROUND DAYCARE
Hi there parents, my name is Niki and I have been caring for children in my home for 9 years now. I am a married mom of three kids (11,9&4) and run a home daycare in the south end of Regina. I have CPR, 1st Aid, Police and Child Welfare Background checks on both myself and my husband. I also have completed my Level 1 in Early Childhood Education.
In my 9 years of experience I had the opportunity to care for children with many hurdles such as Asthma, Diabetes, Autism, ADD, ADHD, ODD, a variety of global delays, allergies and speech delays.
I run a comfortable daycare in a home setting where the children have the opportunity to play games, do puzzles and crafts, read books, watch movies, dance and listen to music. We also have lots of free play and out door time. We will go on occasional outings to the park, library and community events.
The children will be provided with two snacks and a well balanced lunch focusing on the four food groups while still keeping it child friendly. They will learn life skills such as respecting our friends and themselves, manners and small chores like putting their plates in the sink, putting their shoes in the closet and cleaning up the toys. The children also learn how to cooperate, include others, problem solve and play well with children of all ages.
Monkeying Around Daycare is open from Monday to Friday from 7:00am - 5:00pm (flexible), very reasonable rates and receipts will be provided.
