NATURE'S CHILD is home-based childcare located on Holsted Road in Brooklin with one immediate full time (4-5 days/week) opening for a child age 2+. Alexise Dodd-Clarke is a mother of two girls and her background includes a BSc in Psychology and work with kids of all ages, including extensive experience teaching children and youth with Autism and developmental disabilities. Our daily activities may include periods for play followed by circle time, consisting of nursery rhymes, songs, and circle games, outdoor play and trips to the park or library. Each week has its rhythm as well; there are days for baking, another for painting, a third for crafts, and so on. The toys and activities on the main floor play area at Nature's Child include a variety of wooden toys and toys that stimulate the imagination and develop creativity. Nature's Child is cleaned without the use of chemical cleaners. It is smoke free and shared with two friendly de-clawed kitties. Alexise's training includes CPR and first aid.
