Finding proper care for your children while you are away at work or school can be a very stressful and time provoking journey! Every parent wants to know that their child is safe, loved, and happy when they are not present. I too had the same problem. I have a 2 year old daughter of my own and one of my most defeating moments was trying to place her in a daycare or dayhome environment. That's why I chose to run my own dayhome - now I can stay home with my child and provide the kind of dayhome that I wanted my child to have all along!
I am located in Scenic acres - for those of you that aren't familiar with that area it's It is bounded to the north by Crowchild Trail, to the east by Nose hill Drive, to the west by Stoney Trail and to the south by the Bow River.
It's a very safe and quiet area.
Some of the activities we do with the children include coloring, playdoh ,puzzles, reading crafts of all shapes and sizes, painting, music and dance, etc... We have all kinds of toys, and teddy bears. Our main objective is to provide the children with quality care, and a comfortable and safe environment.
This is my dayhome, I am more about comforting the parents then seeking out the cash - caring for the children then looking at them as dollar signs!
All meals, snacks and beverages are included in our rate for over 2 years. Parents with children under 2 years need to provide supplies and babyfood. I have my current First Aid & CPR Level B certified, Welfare Checked, Health examined & Police clearance.

Rate per child : $500.00 per month

All children are enrolled on the basis of a personal interview between the parent and the provider.
The following forms must be completed and on file prior to a child’s enrolment:
Signed and dated contract
Day Home Family and Medical Information
Day Home Registration Form
Day Home consent forms
Current Immunization Record and a copy of Alberta Health Care copy
First months fee and/or PD cheques
1 Spot available on full time basis (Monday-Friday) |
