NON-SMOKING HOME / Small low-dander Dog (Yorkie/Bichon female 8mon old puppy)

SUBSIDY: I will happily help with any you may qualify for, however, regulations say I can only assist with subsidy to one family at a time.
BESIDE PUSSYWILLOW PRESCHOOL (no affiliation) and provide an eqivalency discount for children attending there!
Mon --> Friday, 7:00am --> 4:00pm / 5:30pm depending on start time of child &/or needs of the client: 9-hr max day or overtime may apply; unless early pick-ups or flex days are arranged for other days.
I will:
- offer developmentally & age-appropriate toys & activities of interest to your child
- play: reading, singing, crafts, family atmosphere, nurturing comfort
- provide nutritional snacks & drinks [lunches are an option], walks to nearby playground, yard play
- ensure your child's health, happiness, and safety!
Safety:
New Emergency First-Aid/Children: June 7th, 2009; re-certifying May 26, 2012. Certified w/ criminal records check with BCTF in 2002, & again upon reg'tn with VIHA for Licensing in Langford [application pending]. Willing to do another upon independent request, at your expense.
Fully fenced yard.
Walking distance to Ruth King Elementary, Goudy Library, Centennial Park, Tumblebums, & Memorial Park. Bus ride/stroller walk to JDF, and Langford Eagle Ridge / Playzone.
Fees / Supplies*: $850 /mo.
The fees* you pay cover nutritious snacks, extra drinks, craft supplies, equipment, running costs, and activity costs. As per our care contract, I will provide tax receipts upon termination of service. Monthly receipts are available upon request with post-dated cheques. NSF fees transferrable back to clent. 3 instances of NSF means you must pay in cash before 1st of the month due.
About me:
I am a certified teacher, who has chosen to stay at home until my children are school aged. I have 2 degrees: Uvic BEd [K-7] & BFA in Theatre. I enjoy nurturing learning, imagination, & creativity.
My partner Dave [a correctional officer for the provinceof BC for 14+ years], my girls [4 & 8 yr old], & I are both excited to share our home & play!
Location:
Our new house [& locale of what was once "Sunny Days", and is now "Dandy Lion Daycare"] is located at 1-2871 Peatt Rd. I previously operated as an on-call childcare provider and for short term transitional care in my residence in James Bay until July 1/09. I have current and prior references.

We are a non-smoking home due to allergies. We prefer you to be non-smoking clients too, and at the very least ask that you do not smoke on our property.
We now have a lovely little puupy, a family-oriented Yorkie x Bichon named Roxy *12 months* old!
I am in the works of getting licenced for Family Care ASAP via VIHA. I am currently open to the occaisonal evening/weekend child minding for an hourly wage, if pre-arranged. I no longer do on-call with the exception of emergencies for prior/current clients only, though it never hurts to ask! |
