I'm Lori Giesbrecht and I provide children in grades K-7 (up to 12 yrs), with year round government regulated and licensed before, after, out of school and summer care.
School drop off and pick up are included in fees & and I supply booster seats. Lori's Place is located just off Cedar Street making drop off and pick up easy. I offer care on: pro-d days, non instructional days, half days, during: school strikes, snow days, Christmas break, Spring break, drop in care & summer care.
As a former hairstylist & PAC mom I have over 20 years experience interacting and working with elementary school age children.
I'm registered with and have ongoing & up to date child care training with Mission's CCRR. I'm St John Ambulance child first aid, CPR and Food Safe certified. With a major provincial emergency plan in place that is registered with Mission's Fire Department, we are prepared in the event of any major provincial emergency (each child is supplied their own emergency kit). We have homework assistance & reading time. Children are cared for in a smoke free, fully alarmed, centrally air conditioned "home like" setting with a fully fenced yard/play area and I welcome all pre authorized subsidies.
Lori's Place is a play based program that the children enjoy. I offer each child a safe and happy environment where they are encouraged to be themselves and have fun.
We have lots of outside & playground time in various parks & playgrounds in and around Mission. On full days of care, Lori's Place serves a pancake breakfast. We also have free hot lunch days (pizza day & hot dog & fries day)
Non school day field trips that the children help plan are: Mission leisure centre, Matsqui wave pool, Mission and Abbotsford's McDonalds playplaces.
June-August: Picnic lunch at Mission, Mill lake and Maple Ridge spray parks as well as the Bridal falls Waterslides. Lori's Place has an air hockey table, limited and supervised Wii game & computor time.
Lori has: lots of lego, movie day, parties, prize day, ice cream sundae day, freezie day, slurpee day, cookie day, crafts and more!

Morning care rates:
Before 7am drop off: $8.00 per day
After 7am drop off: $9.00 per day
After school care: $11.50 per day
Early dismissal & full days: $28.00 per day
