Hello
my name is Meaghan cameron.
i have been doing in home daycare for almost 2 years
before in home care i was a nanny, i did a co-operative education program where i devoted over 700 volunteer hours in a daycare facility where i worked in all the rooms infant-school age, while in high school i completed over 40 mandatory hours of community service working and helping in a daycare and i also have 1 1/2 years experience working in a daycare facility.
children that attend my daycare are provided with a safe,clean,happy,calm and educational environment.
daily the children and myself spend a minimum of 2 hours outside depending on weather conditions.
i provided the children with a Am snack, Lunch,Pm snack daily.
during our days we have a circle time where we sing songs, practised our abc's, counting, numbers, letters and their sounds, animals and their sounds, shapes, colors, our birthdays, the month, year days of the week and what's the weather.
every day we do a gross motor activity, a cognitive activity, art and have free play! nightly i send home a daily report and weekly i send home a news letter to the parents that involves them on our week. it has our meal plan, our weekly activity plan and provides you with any additional information you may need to know. we have a full play room located in the house that all the children love to play in!
