Home Away From Home Day-home is just that....HOME AWAY FROM HOME. I want parents to feel when they go off to work in the morning that their child is in a loving environment that replicates HOME. It is important that as you spend your day working that you can concentrate on your job knowing that your child is in a secure and happy environment that is nurturing and safe. When you place your child or children in Home Away From Home Day-home, you will know that your child is in a loving home where you can feel at ease that your child will be treated with the same love and respect in my home that you treat your treasured child with in your home...When your child is in my home, it truly is...THEIR Home Away From Home. I offer an exceptional environment where you can feel confident your child is in the best hands. In my home we don't spend much time in front of the T.V. Emphasis is placed on outdoor play and quality time together with outings to Duffin's Bay Park, Rotary Park and daily swimming in the summer in a private pool where time will be spent on a daily basis teaching your child to swim or bettering their skills in the pool. Lunches are different everyday and often are a hot lunch.. even in the summer...(BBQ). I am actively involved with other daycare mothers to provide a great group atmosphere for your child during outdoor play. If you want your child to feel like they are at home instead of a commercial daycare but you want them to be fulfilled with activities and fun then this truly is the place for your child and a place that will give you as their parent, peace of mind. I have outstanding references and my rates are competitive. Although there is always a cheaper rate out there, I believe you get what you pay for and I am devoted to spending my day keeping your child happy, busy and comfortable. I believe that our children are our greatest accomplishments in life and that every effort must be made to teach them good values and keep their mind and bodies active.
Hours of operation are from 7:00am- 5:30pm and include Summer holidays, all PA Days, March Break. We are located a few doors down from Duffin's Bay School and Lakeside School on Panter Cres. (Closest main intersection is Westney and Finley) At Home Away From Home Day-home, your child will be made to feel like this is an extension of their home. Your child's needs will always be put first and I believe that it is an important priority to give you peace- of-mind knowing your children are well cared for while you are at work. I have a large-fenced in backyard and my gate is securely locked so your child is safe. I like to keep children on a schedule so that they become familiar with a routine.
Lunch and snacks are provided. All equipment to keep your child safe is provided. Flexible hours and receipts given.

Admission conditions
Prices are listed below for full-time care and will vary due to your situation and hours required for my services. Receipts will be given yearly.
3 months to age 3 $175.00-250.00 /week
age 4 to age 6 $125.00 to $150.00/week
age 6 and up $100.00 to $125.00/week
Rates depend on the time that your child is with me, school hours, age of child etc.
