Little Learning Steps Family Childcare is a licensed facility in the Cloverdale area. It is a non-smoking environment. I have had 30 years experience with children of all ages. I went to Highline College for my ECE. I am a member of Options (CCRR) and have had many classes and workshops through them regarding the educational development of children. I have consistent "Low" risk inspection ratings from licensing and provide excellent references. I offer a pre-school type setting with a fun, creative and educational environment with age appropriate development. I have the occasional help of a staff member. We teach the children to be kind & considerate of each other & interact as a family. We have a wonderful circle time teaching a learning through play method by using puppets, felt board, music fingerplays and much more.
Daily crafts are offered. I provide AM & PM snacks with water and I provide the milk for lunches. Once a week I provide a hot lunch. We also go on occasional field trips. I have a large fenced back play yard w/toys for all ages, plus a large playhouse. My inside area is quite large also. I am located in the George Greenaway Elementary School catchment area.
Every child's needs are different and they each develop at their own pace. My role is to determine each child's needs and meet them & encourage them. Through guided play and activities I can help children grow emotionally, intellectually and socially in a positive manner.
