Welcome to Hugs Connect Day Care and After School Care! Hugs Connect is a home run daycare which will also expand into a playgroup organizing site (2010/2011). We are very flexible as we know different families have different childcare needs!

Hours:
7:45am to 5:30pm (standard price)
or additional early/late
7:15am to 6:15pm ($5 extra a day) (earlier/later schedule can also be discussed)
Part-Time hours mornings/afternoons or partial weeks also possible depending on space availability. After school care also possible based on availability.
Included:
- All meals (breakfast, 2 snacks, lunch)
- Milk (if child drinks formula, parents must provide)
- Organized Playtime
- Outdoor activities everyday (weather permitting)
- Nap Time
Parents must provide:
- Diapers
- One set of extra clothing
- One pair extra shoes and socks
- Formula if required
- 2 Sippy Cups / Bottles that child is used to
Communication:
- A Report sheet will be sent out daily to parents outlining: meals eaten, diaper changes, outings and activities of the day, notes for the next day
Before/After School Care:
- Before/After-School care available for Agincourt Road Public School children
- if desired, can include school dropoff / pickup
- includes afterschool snack
- price between $15 to $35 dollars a day depending on number of hours, if both dropoff/pickup is required in person, etc - this can be discussed
Unavailability/Days Closed:
- You will be given minimum 1 month notice if the daycare will be closed (vacation etc.), but usually I will try to give 2 or 3 months notice.
- Closed during all public holidays (but am willing to consider holiday care on individual basis - can be discussed)
- Closed one week at Christmas (but am willing to consider holiday care on individual basis - can be discussed)
Payments:
- Payments due at the beginning of every month
- There is NO charge for public holidays or days closed - payment is only for the days the child attends.
- 5 sick days a calendar year are allowed (at NO charge) - but must charge for any excess days on top of that as the spot is reserved
- 10 vacation days / un-attendance days a calendar year are allowed (at NO charge) - but must charge for any excess days on top of that as the spot is reserved - NOTE that notice is needed for days off
- Above payment policy is unique as most daycares will charge monthly regardless of holidays/or if the child does not attend.
Admission conditions
Will not accept children with severe nut allergies as it is not a completely nut-free house.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
