Just a little bit about myself: My name is Stacey and I am a certified Level 3 (Supervisor) childcare professional with Childcare First Aid/CPR and I provide full background checks. I am a mother to a beautiful daughter that will be turning 6 in September. I used to teach Junior kindergarten (and other age groups) - I love children! I graduated from the two year Early Childhood Education program in Ontario in 1999. I have 15 years experience working in day care centres and schools. I have loved working with children from an early age, working as camp counselors to babysitting. I am constantly taking new courses, and attend regular conferences to up-grade to best practices.
I have lots of years of experience working in a Reggio rich environments and I like to provide a wonderful learning environment for children with lots of play and sensory experiences, crafts and outdoor play. I also like to encourage inquiry and project based learning. We are also close to James Mowat School, parks and playgrounds. I have a fenced in background with lots of outdoor activities for the children to freely explore. In the nice weather I like to provide many opportunities to be outside, as well as eat our lunch at the picnic table or on the deck for a picnic.
The children are always engaged in some kind of activity.
I provide the children with a safe and loving environment that feels like home, and i treat your children like my own.
If you need earlier drop off then 7:00, please just talk it over with me and I am sure we can figure something out.
I am providing full time care in September with two snacks. Please pack a lunch for your child. It will cost $600 a month. We also have a pool in the backyard.
Admission conditions
Must be okay around an older cat. She is super sweet with no front claws.
