Hi, my name is Jennifer Koehler; I have two boys’ ages 18 months and 3 years. I have been involved in child care for 9 years and have several courses related to childhood education, communication and creative play. We are located in the Albion area of Maple Ridge on almost one acre with a creek running through. We have a large fenced in play area, a large grassy area, a veggie garden and access to loads of community parks. We have a lot of fun doing a great variety of activities and learning as we go.
We are now a fully Licensed family daycare!!!!!
My Philosophy:
Welcome to Aunty Jenny’s house. As the saying goes “It takes a village to raise a child”. I am a part of that village. My goal is to take CARE of your child and let them be children. Play is a way for children to learn society’s rules of engagement and the knowledge they will need to succeed, however, this is not school this is CARE. I provide an environment in which we help you, help your child become a great little person. I am here to gently guide your child, provide a safe and comfortable environment where your child feels accepted and have tons of fun learning all kinds of really neat stuff.
At Aunty Jenny’s House I firmly believe in parent interaction. I welcome parents to drop in any time and we encourage healthy communication between all parties involved in the care of your child. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time; we are part of a team, a very important person’s team.
Admission conditions
We do have two Labradors that live outside in an enclosed pen. They are very friendly but will not be out of the pen when kids are in care.
