Hello,
I am an experienced childcare provider with over 17 yrs of experience and have child care spaces available in a caring home environment. I have a large fully fenced backyard with a cedar play structure, swings, sand and countless toys and activities.
I am one of the first daycares in Barrhaven to offer all natural, organic, healthy homemade nutritious meals and snacks and a safe home environment where only eco friendly products (reduced toxins), are used in a very health conscious daycare.
Conveniently located, just a 4 minute drive from Barrhaven’s “Park & Ride”.
Extended opening hours 7:00am till 5:00pm
I provide a structured program and understand that children need love and attention above all. Your child would have a balanced day of indoor play, outdoor play, art, music, stories, and nap / quiet time. Play would consist of free play and activities that promote educational enrichment. All children 3 and under nap in a playpen in their own rooms. All bed linens are washed weekly. Daily written journals are provided for children 3 and under.
I provide very nutritious home cooked meals, and snacks, striving to reduce the consumption of sugar, preservatives, artificial colours and flavours in the food that I serve. Meals and Snacks consists of fruits, vegetables and meat, and some organic fruits, vegetables and naturally raised meats (which are free of antibiotics and hormones). Lunch consists of meat, 3 different kinds of vegetables and a side of rice, bread, or pasta. Snack consists of 2 kinds of fruit and a side of whole grains. Homogenized milk and unsweetened fruit juice is provided.
Breakfast is available for all daycare children. I make a full breakfast every morning, alternating between:
scrambled eggs, sausage, homemade ww bread (toast), 2 kinds of fruit, juice and milk
or
homemade apple cinnamon porridge, 2 kinds of fruit, cheerios, juice and milk
I am fully equipped with a six seater stroller and a wagon with seat belts for transporting young children for walks and outings. No other vehicle is used.
We have two friendly gentle indoor cats, which are often seen by the daycare children but don’t have any contact with them.
