With over 30 years of childcare experience, Nature’s Nook Home Daycare is a calm, nurturing space where children can slow down, explore, and simply be little.
Located in Kanata South, I offer a home-based program inspired by Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia philosophies, with a focus on child-led play, natural materials, and connection to nature.
Our days are filled with fresh air and adventure, whether we’re exploring the woods, visiting local parks, or feeding animals at the farm.
Our playroom is a cozy, thoughtfully prepared space with wooden toys and a gentle, home-like rhythm.

*Child Must have no pet (cat) allergies.
*Will be comfortable with some minor food allergies/sensitivities.
*I have basic French, which I use throughout the day. My daughter is also bilingual and is encouraged to speak French when home :)
*Occasional evenings, Weekend and Overnight care available at $35/hr
*Must be comfortable with provider transporting children to fun activities. Graco SlimFit carseats provided by caregiver.
*Must be comfortable with majority of the day spent outside. |
