I'm a stay at home mom with 16 years of childcare experience. I have a 14 moths old toddler, one child in grade 4, one in grade 5 and two teenagers, 14 and 16.
I just opened my dayhome, and have two openings full or part time.
One child can be under 2, another under 3, or both older than that. Before/ after school care also available. If you have an infant, and would like to have a little time for yourself or with your spouse on a regular basis, I can open a spot afternoon/early evening weekly or biweekly.
There are 2 playgrounds in walking distance, and we also have a large backyard.
I'm registered through Sonshine Dayhomes, all necessary clearances and certificates are available. I also have years worth of volunteer time at my kids' schools and worked at the university family housing as a community assistant with elementary school aged kids. I'm on my way to get my degree in early childhood education. This time around I'll do something I really enjoy - looking after children.
TV is not used as a babysitter here, and I offer home cooked/baked meals and snacks, regular exercise, arts and crafts, TLC and lots of fun.
