My program is based on the philosophy that each child is unique with individual emotional, social, intellectual, and physcial needs. I believe that young children need to explore life, develop new skills and learn at their own pace through play.
I have an fenced in backyard with lots of options including a play yard, trampoline and a space for children to ride around. We also go for walks and down to the park a few blocks down. We go outside everyday weather premitting. Inside there are plenty of toys that the children may choose from. I provide both structured and non-structured play with circle time, arrt, music, blocks, puzzles, books, I usually have some sort of craft for the children to do on their own or as a group with me.
Admission conditions
I have two children of my own, both boys. My youngest is 5 months old and my oldest is 4.
I do have a small non shedding dog named Louie that is wonderful with the children. The kids love to chase him outside and love to give him attention.
I am also available for emergency care as the children I have right now come at different times during the week.
