Hello, I am a kindergarten teacher and mother of 3 children who has successfully been operating my dayhome for almost 5 years. I run the dayhome as a "home away from home" with a relaxed and laid back atmosphere, while still engaging the children in stimulating and creative activities. The children and I have lots of fun playing during free time, baking, being artistic while we make crafts, playing outdoors in my huge fenced yard, singing, dancing, and going on outings. We also have daily reading time, quiet activities for relaxation, and special days like "pajama day" or "pool party day". I like to focus on being creative and having the kids use their imaginations and limit their television time.
I provide hearty and healthy meals that include breakfast, lunch, and a minimum of 2 snacks. I emphasize fresh produce, whole grains, and little processed food as proper nutrition is very crucial to me.
I have a pet free, smoke free home and provide monthly receipts. I have my first aid, have taken infant/child CPR and can get a police clearance if desired. References are also available upon request.
