I operate a small family home day care and am different than a Day Care Center because the number of children that are enrolled is limited. By staying small I am able to provide the quality care and nurturing atmosphere that you child deserves.
Sweet Pea Home Day Care is not a preschool, but I do offer a theme based preschool program. Children participate in a full range of activities such as free play, outside play, stories, dramatic play, creative arts, crafts, music and much more.
Being a mother of two and a personnal trainer for years I understand the importance of good nutrition for our growing kids! This is why I only offer an organically focused diet to the children in my care. The meals and snacks I serve will all be nutritous and home made, aside from occasional homemade pie or cookie I will not be serving candy or junk food.
As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy learning environment for each child that will stimulate their physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual and in doing so, builds self-esteem and respect for others.
As your partner in caring for your child, my interaction with you, the parent, is as important as my interaction with your child. I encourage parent involvement in the child care setting.
