I have started a home daycare in Findlay Creek. I have a 20 month old son and two other children from the immediate area in my care. I have professionally finished my large basement as a main area for free play (I have many toys), circle time, reading books, crafts, and stretching/exercise. Our home is directly across the street from Dragonfly Park where there is a large play structure, swings, basketball court, and toboggan hill. All meals/snacks are home cooked and follow the Canadian food guide. Meals are served in my kitchen and a separate playroom is used for naps. I have my infant first aid and CPR (updated Jan 2010). Police record check available. We have no pets and a newly built, smoke free home. Daily journals are kept and we enjoy daily outdoor walks and play. My sister, who is a qualified teacher and has just returned from teaching toddlers in China, will be working with the children and helping me out a few days per week.
