Update for June - I currently have 2 spots available for the summer for school agrd children.
I strongly believe that it is through play that children learn best. I feel it is my role to provide quality, interesting and stimulating materials and equipment to facilitate this play. I provide materials that meet a range of developmental levels. This creates an environment for each child to grow and learn at their own rate, because each child is different and therefore grows and learns in their own unique way.
I provide a loving, warm, stimulating, nurturing and a very safe environment for children in my home. My home daycare has an educational focus, daily circle and reading times, arts and crafts, outdoor time and visits to the many parks in our area. Weather permitting - Weekly trips to the OYEC and monthly trips will include the Children’s Museum, Adventures on Wonderland and to the local Library.
We have a large playroom (18’ x 14’) located upstairs in a bright spacious area filled with educational toys, reading circle, craft corner, kitchen centre all of which are safe for both infants and toddlers. The entire floor is covered with interlocking rubberized flooring to keep the children safe from tumbles. The daycare is located on one floor with only one access to the basement which is gated.
There is a nutritious four week rotating meal plan which includes morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate any nut allergies.
Current CPR/First Aid and Police Clearance available upon request.
