I have over 4 years experience in home daycare and 13 years experience with my own children. I have received all levels of my Halton Childcare certificates. I hold a valid police check and update my First-aid and CPR certificate on an annual basis. I am a registered member of the Halton Childcare Association.
Spacious child-proofed, smoke-free house with large playroom. Plenty of rooms for nap time. Fully fenced in yard with climbers, ride-on toys, play house, etc. Close walking distance to many parks and the Splash Pad.
Activities include:
- visits to local parks, splash pad, storytime at Gellert
- crafts/painting
- blocks
- play dough
- puzzles
- free play with a wide of variety of toys
- dancing/daily exercises
- dress-up/imaginary play
- outdoor play daily with appropraite weather conditions
- sand and water table
- circle time (reading books, singing songs, games, sharing special thoughts with our friends, learning activites based on theme, puppets, felt board stories)
- occasional field trips (splash pad, Ontario Early Years Centre, library, community centre, farm, etc.)
- theme days (Halloween Party, birthday celebrations, Valentine`s Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day, pajama day to name a few)
- developing skills (colours, numbers, ABC`s, manners, everyday life skills in preparation for school).
- exploring with use of the computer (kept to a minimum)
- many activities for development of gross and fine motor skills
Nutritious hot lunches and snacks are prepared daily.

Parents considering to bring their child/ren to my home daycare must be aware that we have a very loveable cat (7 years old) and a Golden Retreiver (4 years old) that both absolutely adore the children! Any parent with a child with allergies to these animals must keep this in mind!
We are also a peanut/nut free facility!
