You can be sure your children will love my home, myself and my son, Alix and will enjoy every moment they spend there! You can also rest assured that your child(ren) will be safe, free from any harm and always under my complete supervision and have my full undivided attention! I am dedicated to providing the best care for your child at affordable, reasonable rates - whether you are going to school, working, or just need some time for yourself. Being a mother of a 2 and a half year old boy, I have been there to witness every moment and experienced the joys of motherhood first hand. I have taught my son how to crawl, walk, talk and so much more, so I know what to expect and what to do in any situation. There is nothing more assuring or better than a mother's instinct and her knowledge when it comes to children. I've created this in-home day care center as a way to provide private child care to families who are tired of the over-priced day care centers in the city of Hamilton. I want to provide a safe, fun, secure, friendly and learning-enriched environment. I want your child's experience to be fun and enjoyable and learn and grow as they develop their everyday necessary skills by participating in learning activities and games, learning how to read and write as well as recognizing numbers, shapes, colors and letters! I also want to make sure they receive the proper nutrition, therefore healthy meals will be provided! I strive to make my home completely safe and sanitized and full of fun, exciting, new toys for the children to play and learn with! I believe the children come first and give them my full undivided attention all day every day! I don't just sit around and watch the children play, I JOIN IN! I love children and I love caring for them. I believe the children should be treated with respect and honesty and I would never use physical or violent punishment, even emotional and mental punishment is wrong. My discipline methods involve putting the child in time-out for the amount of minutes that equals their age. For example since my child is 2.5 years old, I put him in time out for 2 and a half minutes. Then after I explain to them what they did wrong. Just from doing that, my child is listening more and is becoming a well-behaved child. I always treat the children in a calm, patient, friendly manner and never raise my voice, swear or get angry. I have a huge amount of patience and the children will see that and learn from my ways. I want your child(ren) to feel loved and enjoy their time away from you, rather than seeing the babysitter or going to daycare as a punishment from their parents. And, the children will always have a constant playmate - my son, Alix!! He loves to play with others and share his toys. He is very nice, friendly and patient around other children and LOVES to join in any game! I'm sure your children will love him and he will love them! |

I welcome everyone. However, will not take a child who really misbehaves. I cannot care for a child who has very bad biting, hitting, screaming or swearing habits. My son is well behaved and I plan to keep him that way and any other children in my daycare.. |
