I am a mother of 3 children aged 17, 13 and 3 years. I decided not to return to work after my maternity leave finished in January 2010. I have many years of experience as a mother and I also have certification as a Home Care/Special Care Aide. I have spent the last 10 years in the Financial Services industry. I am First Aid trained. I am a Girl Guides of Canada leader. I would love the opportunity to get to know your child and provide a loving home environment. I am great with children and am looking forward to providing a positive learning experience for your child. I don't intend to be the babysitter that's just "in it for the money" or someone that puts your child in front of the TV all day. My children and I like to sing and play and try to find "education" in everything we do.
Admission conditions
SORRY, NO SUBSIDY IS AVAILABLE! ***Please Note: My youngest child will be starting kindergarten in the Fall of 2014 therefore my daycare will be closing by July 2014.*** I do offer receipts upon request. You are responsible to provide your child's lunch and I will provide one snack and juice each day. Payment is preferred electronically (online banking transfer), if possible and is expected at the beginning of each month (bi-weekly preferred but not mandatory). (NSF cheques are subject to a $25 fee) I will offer incentives to those that sign a contract (min. 6 months) which will slightly decrease the monthly rate for those paying on a month-to-month basis (no contract). Children must be in good health to attend daycare (ie: if child has a fever or flu-like symptoms I will request he/she stays home that day) More detailed information is available in Parent Handbook (available upon request)
I will require a minimum one month's written notice should you choose not to continue with daycare. For those with children in school/preschool looking for care: parents must make arrangements for their child's transportation as I am unable to pick up or drop off children.
Allergy Alert: We do have a short-haired cat and a dog who generally keep to themselves but are friendly to kids when around them!
