I provide childcare during the school year; my clients are teachers.
I provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment for the children in my care. The children are encouraged to learn and grow through play in a comfortable home childcare environment, by being stimulated with a variety of appropriate activities and outings. We follow a flexible daily routine.
The childcare operates in a dedicated area of my home with it’s own playroom, kitchen and eating area that is also an ideal space for making crafts. The children are given healthy and nutritious meals and snacks. I have a fully fenced backyard with a safe play structure, sandbox and outdoor toys. The neighbourhood is quiet and ideal for the children to enjoy walks. In addition, the children enjoy a variety of local outings to indoor and outdoor playgrounds, libraries, drop-in programs, etc.
I am First Aid/CPR Certified (renewed yearly), have a valid police and vulnerable sector screening (for myself and my husband), fire inspection and Health and Safety inspection completed. I am a member of the Halton Child Care Providers Association and have completed the Halton Childcare Training (HCCPT) program.
I am a mother of two children, ages 10 and 6. I started providing childcare after volunteering in my sons Kindergarten classroom, and decided shortly afterwards that I wanted to work with children. I am on the Home and School Association for my children's school, and also volunteer to help with organizing events for my sons hockey team.
I provide a monthly newsletter in addition to daily communication. I have been providing childcare for 5 years. References upon request, receipts provided.
My clients are teachers who either live or work in the Oakville area, as my childcare is open during the school year and is closed for all school holidays. The childcare opens at 7:30 am and closes at 5:00 pm. I care for children ages 1 to 5 years. |
