I am an energetic, organized, mother of three - ages 9, 2 1/2, and 3 months.
Running my own home daycare is still new to me, but I am employing a lot of tools and techniques that I have learned from the various preschools my own children have attended. My objective is to offer a stimulating environment where the children can play as well as learn, thereby developing both their social skills and knowledge. The program is structured and includes crafts & activites as well as daily outdoor time.
I've prepared menu plans to provide for the parents to view in advance, detailing the healthy, balanced meals (breakfast and lunch, including 2% milk) and snacks their children will be eating in my care. (If your child alternatively requires homo milk, soy milk, formula or baby food, it will need to be supplied).
I'm located in the South end of Guelph in a clean, new detached, 2000 sq. ft. home on a quiet crescent with a large pie-shaped backyard with an expanding assortment of play equipment (fence to be completed this summer). It has a bright, sunny playroom and is just around the corner from the new Westminster Woods Public School being built for this Fall. |

School age children must be zoned for Westminster Woods P.S. for the 2010-2011 school year.
We have a very tolerant and docile Chocolate Laborador Retriever who loves children. He is very laid back and rarely barks, but he does shed, which may affect children with allergies to dogs. |
