I am a non-smoking mother of 3 school-aged children, am an RN by profession, married to a Police Officer. We live in a mature area on a quiet street. I have been running my daycare for 5 years and currently have 5 daycare children in my care on a full and part-time basis.
The daycare rooms are bright and stimulating, there is a large backyard with playhouse, small climber with slide, ride-on-toys and plenty of grass to run and play. We make weekly outings to the library, YMCA, local parks and playgroups and when we are at home we are busy reading, listening to music, doing arts & crafts, baking, as well as enjoying free play and quiet time/nap-time. We spend time outside everyday, morning and afternoon when possible.
I have completed police, fire, health and safety checks. I am a member of the HCCPA. Have a yearly up-dated CPR/First Aid training and take part in regular childcare courses and workshops.
