Wouldn't you just love to have one morning a week to yourself - to do whatever you wanted?
I am available to provide part time care from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thurdays, starting in March.
I have two daughters - aged 1 and 3, and I plan to take them and your child to the fantastic Parenting and Literacy Centre in my neighbourhood (at Cambridge School), where they will have healthy snacks, time for free play with loads of educational toys, crafts, etc... structured circle time and storytime as well as free play in the gym to burn off some of that preschool energy and tire them out! I will feed them the lunch that you provide for them, thus ensuring that there are no concerns about allergies.
If the weather is terrible, we will stay at my home, where we have converted the basement into a playroom. We also have a fenced backyard and live near several parks.
About me - I'm a certified teacher, I have a clear police check (obviously) and I love kids - heck - I decided to have two of my own! I've chosen to work only very part time so that I can spend more time with my girls.
When I was off on maternity leave, I came to realize that there are times as a mom when you need some time to yourself to get errands done, or even just visit friends and relax. I found it very hard to find someone who was willing to provide care for only a few hours a week to let me have that opportunity. So - I figured I'd try to fill a niche and see what happens! |

Here's the deal. If you're interested, we can get together at my home and we'll spend the morning at the Parenting and Literacy Centre. If you like it, then we'll arrange to start care. I will require payment for 2 weeks in advance, and then payment every two weeks after that.
Please note that we have a friendly cat in the house. |
