Kiddie Kaboodle accepts babies and children ranging from 0-12, offering full-time, part-time and before and after school care.
We believe that all children are special and unique. It is our goal to provide children with a safe environment that nurtures self-esteem and security. We provide an informal education program to promote learning through hands on play and discovery. We encourage parents to discuss expectations they have and/or want for their child and ourselves. We are always open to any feedback about us as providers. It is important that parents and providers communicate together and establish a good relationship, which is in everyone's best interest.....especially the child's.
Kiddie Kaboodle a home based daycare.
We are a husband and wife team and have 4 children of our own. We have been doing day care for over 8 years. We are both trained and certified in First Aid and CPR and our home has been fire safety certified.
We offer a scheduled activity based informal education program. Our child care program is semi-structured with individual activities, group activities, supervised free time, and supervised outdoor play. Many of these daily activities will focus on early learning skills such as letters, numbers,colors and shapes, as well as manners, dressing one-self an introduction to reading and sign language. For infants we offer toys and activities promoting self feeding, speach , and gross motor skills to start and improve walking.
We have a germ free environment with air filters and a strict cleaning/disinfecting program.
Kiddie Kaboodle offers assistance in potty training when both children and parents are ready and willing to commit.
Homemade nutritionally balanced meals and snacks are served. The children are offered the food and encouraged but not forced to eat. We hand out monthly newsletters which include weekly meal plans. If there is something on the meal plan you know your child does not like or something you do not want your child to eat, you can let us know and we will alter the meal plan to accommodate your needs.
All children are required to have a nap/rest period. No child is forced to sleep, however they must remain quiet. Each child will receive a homemade blanket we customize for him/her. During naptime the children rest with soft, gentle classical music playing, this will help the children settle and relax while the children rest in comfort benefiting from "The Mozart Effect".
Kiddie Kaboodle has an "open door" policy, parents are welcome to visit the daycare anytime your children are present. Parents are also welcome to call anytime.
