I am a 24 year old responsible, dependable and energetic mother of twins and I'm looking to care for one child full time (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 6am and 6pm. We're located within the Metrotown area near Brantford Elementary School (Burnaby). I have two very well behaved little boys of my own (twins) that are currently 20 months old. They were premature, so I do have experience with children who are behind in development.
Currently I'm caring for another little boy who is 20 months old and a little girl who is 13 months old. At this time, I'm looking to fill the spot for the little boy as he will be going to Ottawa to spend some time with his extended family for a few months.
Not only do I have the experience from raising my own children, but I have been running my daycare since May. Addionally, I've had previous experience with childcare. For years I completed babysitting for many families with 1-4 children and there were also days that I would help my friends and family with their children/daycares. I can provide great references upon request and I would be more than happy to complete a security check as well (due to current funding, as I only have one child full time, I would be willing to pay for half). While my little ones were in the hospital, I did complete an Airway Management course. Along the way I will be taking an updated course of First Aid (I have had previous First Aid training so I do have some general knowledge for situations such as choking, cuts and poison control). I provide a smoke-free and a pet-free environment.
If your little one requires a nap during the day, I'd be happy to help. Not only do we have two cribs, but we also have three additional play-pens. We have lots of unisex toys (including two ride on toddler quads, learning table, ride on bumble bee, building blocks, and many developmental toys etc.), developmental movies (Your Baby Can Read series as well as Baby Einstein), books, and we will be playing games, exercising, singing songs and doing crafts (play-doh, painting, coloring). We go on daily trips to the park (should the weather permit it). For transportation to the park or any outing, we have a wagon and a triple stroller as well as a Joovy Sit'n'Stand.
I provide 2 healthy snacks per day and healthy drinks througout the day. Lunches and any other meals would be provided by you, as well as diapers, wipes or anything else that your child should require.
Current rates:
$800 month (full time)
$40/Day for 5 hours (or more)
$30/Day for less than 5 hours

Additionally, I am looking for full time permanent positions to ensure that I am able to make a living for myself and my family.

Must be willing to guarantee atleast a few months care. Due to the fact that this is my business and the assistance that helps me raise my family, I cannot afford to accept a child and then replace that child within a month. It's emotionally draining on the chlidren as well as myself. |
