Hi there!
My name is Carrie, and I am a 35 yr old mother of two kids, age 4 and 2. I will be reopening my dayhome in my new home on September 1. We are located in Windsor Park, walking distance to Jack Mackenzie and St. Gabriel, and on the bus routes to Hawryluk and St Andrews school.
My hours are Monday to Friday, 6:45am to 5:15pm. Closed on the weekends and all statutory holidays. I will be providing healthy breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks during the day, but do not supply formula or special diet foods. Also if your child is not potty trained, you will need to supply your own diapers and wipes.
My house is childproofed and kid-friendly, with numerous safety features such as lift-out windows, child gates, escape ladders and fire extinguishers. In December of 2009, I received my First Aid and CPR C. This is a non-smoking residence, and no pets as well.
There are several play areas through out my home to keep the children entertained, as well as a huge backyard with playstructure and many outdoor toys. Across the street there is a spraypad for those hot hot summer days. My basement has been transformed into a large playarea that is very bright and fun! I have a large playtable for crafts and creative playing, and many dance dvd's for your child's enjoyment.
I currently have 1-2 spots available. One spot is for a full time child ages 2-6 for $500/month or 5-12 yr old in school fulltime $300 during school year, $425 for summer months. And extra charge of $50 will be applied to weeks when the school children are on holiday during the school year, and $10 for PD days. The other potential spot is for part time child ages 2-6 for maximum 3 days/week, $400/month.
