I am a mother of one (daughter 8.5 months) and have recently opened an accredited day home. The day home is approved through It’s A Child’s World Family Day Home Agency. I have been working in childcare since 2003 and have my diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as my Level 3 Advanced Qualification Certificate. I have my all of my security clearance checks up to date.
The day home focuses on learning through play in a child-led environment. I offer a variety of age-appropriate toys, books, and equipment. I have a fully fenced backyard, with provisions for shade in the summer. I am also within walking distance to a playground. Breakfast (depending on drop-off time), two snacks, and lunch are provided.
I am located in Milwoods near Minchau Elementary in a safe, non-smoking, pet-free home. I am on a bus route, with a stop right outside the door.
I have three spaces available for children over 36 months and one space available for children under 36. My hours are between 7:30am and 5:30pm, with some flexibility. For full time care the rate is $690 per month. For part time care (minimum 10 days per month) the daily rate is $45 per day. The hourly rate (six hours or less per day) is $8 per hour. Since the dayhome is approved through an agency subsidy is available.

We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
