Hi my name is Kerry Fonseca, I am a mother of 2. I have been running a Home Daycare for 7.5 years. I was licenced through the Metcalfe Homedaycare. I have also gained experience from working at the Youville Centre for Infants and Toddlers. I am First aid and Cpr certified. I also have an up to date Police record check.
I am a firm believer of health and nutrition so I provide the children with healthy home cooked meals and snacks. I dont believe fast foods are good on a daily basis. I also have a smoke-free home.
We go for daily walks around the neighborhood and look for outdoor life as well as flowers,trees and airplanes.We can also walk to close by parks .I take the children outside daily in my large back yard that has A play structure, oversized sand box, lots of sandtoys,Tonka trucks,ride in cars and tractors as well as chalk, bubbles and lots of bouncy balls.
In my home where your child will come to daily is a large bright colourful room that is very clean and safe and has lots of sunshine as well as laughs and fun. In this room is where we will sing and dance do age appropriate crafts. Have storytime,circletime that will be theme related when It is close to a season change a holiday or a little ones birthday. I will also help you with potty training when that time has arrived. I will also help your child become school ready such as counting 1-25, ABC's,Doing up zippers/buttons,getting themselves dressed for the outdoors and storytime and circletime will help with this as well.
I will also work with your child on respecting their belongings and others belongings as well.Learning not to take from another child and learning to wait their turn.
