speaks excellent English-has been to university;
able to tolerate large amounts of immature and childish behavior- once worked for federal govt;
all the usual stuff (crafts, outdoor time, snacks, hot lunches);
Girl Guide leader for over 20 years - likes being outdoors (weather, kids' attitude and wardrobes permitting);
have car seats:will travel to playgroups, museums, special events and any other cool places we want to go ;
Plus - BONUS!~ Pets!.. not hamsters, Real! pets, cats and dogs: very advantageous as: a)your family won't need a pet as pets will be here at my house; b)children learn to interact appropriately with pets and are not afraid of animals; c)medical studies are now finding that early exposure to pets can reduce incidence of allergies.

Certification / Qualifications - St John's Ambulance Standard First Aid/CPR - current;
- Girl Guide leader for over 20 years, working with girls of all ages;
- active member of Child Care Provider's Resource Network;
participated in Childcare Accreditation Pilot Program ('03='04),
- mom of two (young adult & teen)
- have taken and continue to take courses on safety, food handling, behavior management, child development and other relevant issues thru Girl Guides, Child Care Provider's Resource Network, Ontario Early Years Centers, and First Words, etc. |
