Welcome to SILKY STEPS Day Home, a Day Home with a Difference!
** SILKY STEPS** Day Home Openings -Starting September 1,2012 (Ages 24 months-5years old)
Program will include creative curriculum, lead by an experienced, outgoing, and reliable child care provider.
Focus will be on building physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play and other developmentally appropriate activities.
The children will take part in various activities such as circle time, crafts, songs, games, show and tell, story time and more.
I take the time to listen to children's questions and will investigate answers together with them. I believe that children learn as they pursue their passions and questions. I will provide many opportunities for them to express themselves, to enhance master skills, to learn new ones and become independent and be proud of their accomplishments.
My goal is to provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for your child while learning through play approach.
My commitment is to be a place in which childhood can unfold with joy, wonder, and delight.
-Certification in Early Childhood Education-Level 1 advanced (currently enrolled in Level 2 at Grande Prairie College)
- First Aid / CPR Certification. Police clearance
- Many years of experience working with children of different ages in different child care settings (and mother of 3 children - 5, 9, 15 years old).
- Hours of operation will be 6:45 AM to 5:30 pm
-Providing a safe, comfortable, learning environment, that encourage children to explore, make choices, and solve problems.
-Outdoor play on the fenced yard and local playgrounds
-Nutrition, Healthy Meals and Snacks
-Smoke and pets free house
