I provide a home daycare with a maximum of 5 kids. I have a daughter in grade 8 she will only be around before and after school and the occasional day off from school and I also have an 18 month old little boy. I have been doing home daycare for the last 13 years and before that I worked as a nanny in Toronto.
Home-cooked healthy lunches are provided as well as snacks throughout the day.
I have a spacious backyard with swing set, play house and many other toys as well as a playground 5 minute walk away.
Our days are pretty flexible as I'm a firm believer of going with the flow and letting kids be kids. The kiddos learn informally and through play. We try and get outside daily weather permitting, although that happens a lot more in the summer rather than in the winter.
I pride myself on being very flexible and accommodating as I know how unpredictable life can be. Parents whose children are under my care can rest assured that I will love and care for their children as well as I care for my own.
