Up until the birth of my daughter I worked as a pool supervisor, lifeguard and swimming instructor. I have extensive experience (approximately 15 years) working with children as young as six months, particularly in a teaching environment. I am a former Red Cross First Aid Instructor, and hold valid first aid certification, including CPR training for all ages. I have also passed an RCMP criminal background check.
I believe that every child should be cared for in a positive environment, where they are encouraged to learn and try new things as well as interact with other children and learn social skills at a young age.
We live just north of the Willowbrook area in Langley, where we have converted our entire ground floor into a play area and activity centre for children. The children receive plenty of outdoor activity time, with several walking paths and parks nearby. Lunches and healthy snacks will be provided.
