I am a mom of three boys and have 16 years experience working with children. I have a current C.P.R. and Standard First Aid certificate from The Lifesaving Society and hold a police clearance for the vulnerable sector. I have a lot of experience teaching swimming lessons, teaching preschool classes, being a Camp Director and just being a mom. I treat Daycare children like my very own. I offer care in a smoke free and animal free home. We have a large fenced in backyard and live close to many schools and parks.
During the week, we walk to the park, drive to the library, go to play groups, have a music class (Music for Young Children), play at Tiny Hoppers, and jump around at Mini-port in the mall (indoor playground). At home, we enjoy arts and crafts, colouring and drawing, free play, circle time (stories and songs), music (instruments and songs), reading books, outdoor play, gardening, educational computer games, movies and educational television (for school-aged children), cooking, cleaning and educational time (pre-school education). In our 100% finished basement, we have a kitchen, a bathroom, computer area, TV area, toy storage and a fun, safe, stimulating play area.
I am a member of CCPRN (Child Care Providers Resource Network) and enjoy attending their workshops and their events for the kids. I provide healthy snacks and lunches. Receipts are available. I am located near Portobello and Valin on a quiet six-housed street.

For school-aged children, I will only accept ones who attend St.Clare Catholic Elementary School. Prices for JK or SK are $30 per day and must be in school in the afternoons. |
